Famous Celebrities and E-Cigarettes

A lot of hollywood celebrities have been seen as advocates of electronic cigarettes, or the safer alternative to tobacco cigarettes as they do not burn and emit smoke and don’t contain tobacco and other harmful chemicals compared to the traditional cigarettes.

In a glance, you cannot actually tell on screen if the celebrity is using the analog or the battery operated cigarette since both looks almost the same. However, some of the stars went out already in the public seen with their choice of e-cigarette. Some even became endorsers and spokespersons for several e-cigarette companies in and outside the US.

Below here are just some of the famous celebrities spotted using their personal vaporizers (sorted alphabetically).


1. Alan Titchmarsh



A novelist and broadcaster from United Kingdom who showcasted what and how to use electronic cigarettes aired during his live chat show for ITV last September 27, 2010, No Smoking Day in the UK. He surprised and showed his viewers his E-Lites, one of the leading e-cigarette brands in the UK.


2. Britney Spears

She started to be seen on screen at a very young age in Disney Channel until she became a successful pop singer. Currently, having 2 kids, she decided to take switch from puffing tobacco cigarettes to using the safer alternative electronic cigarettes.


3. Charlie Sheen

Electronic cigarette craze is starting to spread fastly in all the corners of the world especially that now adays, smoking bans are imposed in different public and private areas. A lot of people, like a number of celebrities, became huge fans of e-cigarettes because by using the device, they can still actually enjoy the physical habit of smoking in the bars, restaurants, and night clubs, without worrying to be shoo-ed away because of the smell and second hand smoke.

Actually, most of the consumers of e-cigarettes switch to this innovative and revolutionary smoking device to save money. But for famous celebrities, money is really not the big deal. Are these actors, actresses, singers, and other stars, switched to vaping because they prefer to vape than to smoke, or they actually use the device as an aid to eventually stop smoking? Recently we’ve seen a lot of e-cigarettes on TV and movie screens. With hollywood stars out there spotted vaping a particular product, people would take note of that and many people would try the product that they see their favorite movie star is using. As such, these celebrities indeed play really big and serious roles in endorsing and spreading electronic cigarette products.
